Cable balancing in Refinery

Scope: Verify cable tensioning on Coking unit.

Summary: A refining company asked INTEGRA to verify and document existing loads on all cables to determine the average load values for Coking Unit.  INTEGRA carried out the cable balancing using two hydraulic bolt tensioning assemblies 180 degrees apart to adjust loads to the predetermined load values.  The process was continued and documented until all cables were equally balanced to the required load.

Result: All cables were equally balanced to the required load and a final report was compiled and delivered to the Engineering Department.
